Advanced Protective Pistol Skills (APPS)

September 6 – 8, 2017 Las Vegas, Nevada

PFC’s Protective Pistol curriculum opens many eyes to the dynamics, complexities and nuances involved in responding to lethal attacks against our charges.

But there is much more to consider and train for.

Advanced Protective Pistol Skills (or APPS) expands on core topics by delving into multi-directional AOP drills, threat discrimination, multiple adversaries, protective trauma care (principal & self-aid), vehicular tactics, low-light DARE drills, and force-on-force scenarios.

Training includes a written use-of-force exam and advanced live fire skills test to document the knowledge and performance of graduates.

Demonstrate responsibility, reduce liability, and enhance your capability as a professional protection agent with this “next-level” instruction.

Pre-requisite: Students must possess prior occupational handgun training and be actively employed as an armed EP agent or protective services professional.

Credentials will be verified and eligibility for registration will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Contact PFC HQ for information and clearance to enroll.

Trauma Care and Immediate Response for Executive Protection (TCAIR-EP)

September 9 – 10, 2017 Las Vegas, Nevada

Executive Protection or personal security specialists wear many hats during the execution of their duties and being a first responder to medical emergencies is no exception.

Challenges can include minor bumps and bruises, injuries to associates or family, care in austere environments, attacks on the principal, and self-initiated evacuation.

Day-1 of TCAIR-EP is a full 8-hours focused on protection-centric trauma management, tools, techniques, and treatment procedures.

Training prepares personal security professionals for first response to physical trauma and medical emergencies on the street, in venues, in vehicles, on travel, or at the principal’s residence.

In addition to trauma care, students will receive instruction in CPR, Basic First Aid, and AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator).

Day-2 is an additional eight hours of scenario-based training designed to expose students to greater ambiguity, fluidity, and decision-making.

Through the use of moulage, non-lethal training munitions, trained role-players, varying conditions of light, and a multitude of other artificial stressors, training is brought into a whole new realm of realism and effectiveness.

All PFC TCAIR training is recognized by NAEMT; the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians. Successful completion of TCAIR-EP earns graduates their Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Certification, which is valid for 4 years.

If you are active in the protective services field, this medical training is a must.

Pre-requisite: None

Length: 2-Days
